Why Are You Looking for a New Job?

Question

Why are you looking for a new job?

Answer

I am grateful for what I have learned in my current role, especially the experience of working with my team and developing my technical skills. At this stage, however, I am looking for a new challenge where I can take on more responsibility, continue learning, and make a bigger impact.

I am particularly interested in this opportunity because the role and the company’s work align with the direction I want to grow in. I want to work in an environment where I can contribute to meaningful products, collaborate with experienced people, and develop over the long term.

My decision is about moving toward the right next step in my career, not moving away from negative experiences. I would make the transition professionally and ensure that my current responsibilities are handed over properly.
